Booster I
Participants practice 3 times a week for 45mins with a ratio of 1 to 10 participants.
Main focus of this group is the 1st competitive stroke freestyle. Participants are introduced to the correct kick, drills and the correct technique for this stroke. Coaches will introduce the terms used in swimming by integrating them in the instruction as swimmers learn skills. Swimmers will be introduced to the competitive side of the sport by the recommendation of the coach.
Progression to the next Group Booster I Transition, once the swimmer has demonstrated they can complete a lap without stopping in this stroke.

Booster I Transition
Participants practice 3 times a week for 45mins with a ratio of 1 to 10 participants.
Main focus of this group is the 1st two competitive strokes freestyle and backstroke. Participants work on the freestyle & backstroke using drills & technique for these competitive strokes. They also are introduced to the flip turn for these strokes. Coaches will introduce the terms used in swimming by integrating them in instruction as swimmers learn skills. Swimmers will be introduced to the competitive side of the sport by the recommendation of the coach.
Progression to the next Group Booster II, once the swimmer demonstrates they can successfully complete a lap for both freestyle & backstroke with the correct flip turn.

Booster II
Participants practice 3 times a week for 1Hr with a ratio of 1 to 10 participants.
Main focus of this group is the last two competitive strokes of butterfly and breaststroke.
Participants are introduced to the drills for these strokes, and the
open turns.
Emphasis on reinforcement of the strokes from Level I will also be covered.
Coaches still focus on communicating using the swim terms, and swimmers are introduced to pace and intervals sets. Swimmers in this group have a greater expectation to attend and experience competitive meets.

Booster II Transition
Participants practice 3 times a week for 1Hr with a ratio of 1 to 10 participants.
Work towards mastery of the last two competitive strokes continies with the addition of putting all 4 strokes together in the IM and adding the bucket turn.
Coaches still focus on communicating using the swim terms, preparing swimmers for a competitive mindset and transitioning athletes from learning strokes to competing in them. Swimmers in this group have a greater expectation to attend and experience competitive meets.

Booster Groups begin at 5:30 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Basic Gear: Competition grade swimsuit, swim cap, goggles and towel
